We currently only support the Windows operating system. A macOS version of Hackt1vator will be released in due time.
Yes, Hackt1vator uses jailbreaking software to bypass the iCloud activation lock on your device. Please only use this tool if you are aware of the risks associated with doing so.
This varies dependent on your device, however the jailbreaking tool will normally guide you through this process.
If you are still struggling to enter DFU mode, then please watch a video on YouTube and follow the steps on there.
Hackt1vator provides a free untethered bypass for checkm8 devices. It does not carry signal support.

Windows Installations
Learn about using Hackt1vator on a Windows operating system and find answers to some frequently asked questions here.
After you have downloaded Hackt1vator from our Downloads section, unzip the file and run the setup.exe file.
Hackt1vator can be launched from your desktop or the folder into which you have installed it.
You need to install the latest version of iTunes for the relevant Apple Drivers to also be installed onto your computer so your iDevice can be recognised on a Windows OS.
When Hackt1vator has launched, press the "WinRa1n" button on the right hand side of the tool, and follow the instructions provided by the jailbreaking tool.
This process requires putting your iDevice into DFU mode.
If WinRa1n is not working on your computer, you could try to use Palen1x as an alternative. If this does not work, you should try to use the macOS version of Hackt1vator. Make sure you check your iDevice is supported by Hackt1vator by visiting the bottom of our homepage.
If an error message is displayed during the jailbreaking process while you're using WinRa1n, please ensure you switch on/off the USBDK setting. This setting is found as soon as you lanch the WinRa1n jailbreaking tool.
If the tool says that you need to change your serial number you can use MagicCFG, this is a utility that will allow you to enter Purple Mode and change the serial number of your iDevice to the serial number the tool prompts you to change it too.
Please note that in some cases a DCSD/Alex cable is required to change the serial number using MagicCFG.
You need to install the latest version of the .NET Framework from Microsoft. Please check to see if your computer already has this installed, if so, please remove your current installation of the framework before installing the latest version!
